Prof Oheneba Boachie-Adjei – Treatment Options Available For Adult Deformities
Transmedic invited Dr Prof Oheneba Boachie-Adjei to Singapore for a Complex Spine Symposium on 22 February 2016.
Professor Oheneba Boachie-Adjei is the President and Founder of the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS). He specializes in Spinal reconstruction and the treatment of kyphosis and scoliosis. He has published and lectured extensively on spine surgery, with special emphasis on surgery to correct spine deformity. Prof Boachie-Adjei has also invented and patented several devices used in spinal surgery.
The Symposium was well attended by Spine Surgeons from Singapore General Hospital, National University Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Mount E Orchard and National Neuroscience Institute.
Prof Boachie-Adjei presented on the various treatment options available for Adult Degenerative Deformities and how to deal with complications that arises from such similar cases.
