One of the cancer survivors we had just interviewed flung her arms around us. “Thank you so much!”

“For what?” I asked her, confused.

“For making it possible.” She was referring to the Tomotherapy treatment that had cured her disease.

This moment has stuck with me ever since.

No, we are not her doctors. My colleague and I make up the Marketing team from Transmedic. We were recently in the Philippines to interview a few cancer survivors who have been cured by Tomotherapy, one of the products that our company has brought to the region.

Our role allows us to witness the real impact that Transmedic's medical technologies has had on patients' lives.

Travelling for work tends to come with the additional benefits of getting to know new places and cultures better. But for us it’s all the more meaningful; the people and experiences we have encountered during our trips have made us better, both professionally and personally.

And for us, this is what it’s all about.
